So Very Thankful

Gratitude turns what we have into enough.

I hope everyone had a happy, peaceful and enjoyable Thanksgiving. Being this was my first Thanksgiving away from home, I feel lucky to have spent the last week with my family. My mom, aunt and uncle were here with us in Florida for the holiday and I can't thank them enough for making the trip. While our time spent alone in this unfamiliar and beautiful place has been exciting for my husband and I, the feeling of having family close, knowing they were right down the street was so nice. While I was initially determined to show them all that Florida has to offer, to entertain their every second, I soon realized and soaked up the beauty of doing close to nothing at the beach. And coming from much colder places, soaking up the sun with a cocktail in hand was music to my family's ears. But so was South Beach, next time boys. I am so very thankful to have spent this time with my family. I truly miss you already.
